What is I am not a very good artist?

This is the class for you. You are allowed to take this class 3-4 times for credit. Don’t be afraid to take the course over to learn even more the next time.

This class might help you some, beyond your Beginning level, but only if your interest is in it. You get out this class what you put into it.

While the average artist may skim by in this course, it is not designed for the lazy. Poor art yields poor grades. Motivation is the key.

By now, you know if this is your thing. It’s better to repeat a lower course than to take this class. The curriculum is rigorous and demanding- you will be pushed to your artistic limit here.

Any prerequisite classes required?

Why should I do this?

Everyone can benefit from a creative arts class. Explore new ideas and be free to try new things without fear of embarrassment. Everyone in this class is a beginner.

You have taken the Beginning level class and enjoyed it. You like having a time in your schedule to relax and let your creativity come alive. You enjoy learning more about how to make art.

It’s clear that you like art and setting aside time to make things is important to you. This course will help you develop more skills and develop a style that may become somewhat life-long.

Your artwork is important to you. You often do as much art skill development outside of class as you do in the classroom. This course will help inform you and aid in your ability to further your art interests.
