Order to have BIG ROLE in District Fall Camporee

Sapona Chapter has agreed to take on a large role in the district fall camporee. Skills leading ot First Class Rank is the emphasis of a two hour intensive skill round-robin style training that the boys will lead and organize on Saturday morning of the camporee. The following areas will be emphasized in 20 minute blocks: Plant Identification; Compass/ Orienteering Course; Constitutional Rights Discussion; Knots and Hitches; First Aid Skills; Ax Yard/Totin Chip. Scouts will work hands on on these skills but will not complete any one area in particular as the Scoutmaster has the final say in a scouts skill development in terms of it's true accomplishment. These OA members are there to assist and instruct to help their younger scouts achieve and advance as best they can. All leaders in the district are invited to assist as needed in this time of dicovery and skill development.  Sapona Chapter Skill Development Rotation Chart:  Sapona Chapter Skill Development Rotation Chart Fall Camporee 2011.xlsx
